Carisbrooke Priory (one of the recipients) made us welcome in their newly opened tea room and members of the other five charities, Feline Welfare, Feathered Friends Rescue, Parkinson’s UK, the Asthma swimming association and First Act arrived in heavy rain and thick mist to bring a ray of sunshine to a pretty miserable afternoon.

Cushions were distributed, friends were made, there was much debate about the best way to make money from the cushions. Feline Rescue are selling tickets through local vets until their special fundraising day in July. The others are busy plotting!
