A Cushion for Juvenile Diabetes UK on Friday 22nd November

22nd November, Carol Stansfield is having a coffee morning at home in Bartley, Southampton (near the Cadnam Garden Centre), making money for Diabetes UK & the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. There’s a cushion in the raffle (of course!), refreshements, crafts, bric a brac, presents and toys. If you know Carol, pop along and support her – you can call her on 023 80813067 for more details.

The picture doesn’t really do it justice – the gold thread on the heart sparkles more – but here it is!

There’s a cushion in Bournemouth on 6th November!

Peter and I dropped a cushion off with Lyn Gutteridge for her to take to the Carrington House Hotel for the Inner Wheel’s very special lunch with a speaker from Tools for Self Reliance (based in Netley Marsh) who do extraordinary work throughout the world sending tools to charities, and creating opportunities in this country for folk to recondition tools and work in a variety of ways with them, too. The cushion is in the raffle that will help provide Tools for Self Reliance with some all important funds. Please buy a ticket or two if you’re there!

Tools for Self Reliance also have a cushion to raffle at their Christmas tea. Here’s Lyn with the one that will be in Bournemouth on the 6th!

The BBC Radio Solent dog walk through the Forest was a great success - Lil came with her puppy husky (sigh!) and also made a generous bid for this cushion in the auction. I raffled one as well, adding £70 to the Pudsey pot!
