Ok, Lewis Manning Hospice won’t be getting “All things grow with love” cushion!
Cushion delivery for Rowans Hospice, Waterlooville!
Just about to pop over to Rowans hospice so they have their cushion for tomorrow’s Open Morning. Saturday, 5th October, 10-1. Raffle tickets for the cushion will be on sale.
Please pop in and see the wonderful they work they do. Having just lost Dad I’m particularly aware of how important palliative care is and how fantastic the people are who give it.
Yes, it’s the “all things grow with love” design again. I really like it. Enough of the green fabric for one more, so I suspect Lewis Manning Hospice will receive a similar one for their event next week!

It’s been a difficult few weeks….
I have to apologise to anyone expecting to hear about their cushion. After a tricky few weeks because my lovely old Dad was so poorly he died last week (I can’t thank people enough for all the care he has received and I was with him, singing lullabies, when he slipped away). My poor husband, meanwhile, caught the kidney infection from hell a couple of days earlier and has had the most terrible ten days. I know several of you are waiting for cushions for events in the next week or so and I’m about to swing into action to make sure you get them!

Cushion at the Old Forge, Otterbourne in a silent auction all week….
Things are getting competitive! Hearing that one cushion has made £500, the cushion at the Old Forge came out of the raffle and into a silent auction by itself! It will be on display in the bar all week – hopefully someone feeling content and happy after a meal and a few bevvies will support Naomi House and Jack’s Place with a generous bid!!
